Blaze Bayley празнува 30 години от присъединяването си към Iron Maiden с голям концерт в София, включващ песни от двата му албума с легендарната група.

Изминаха 30 години от присъединяването на Blaze към легендарната британска група Iron Maiden и началото на тяхната краткотрайна, но емблематична съвместна кариера в музиката. Няма да е преувеличено, ако кажем, че той беше силно подценен, разбира се с тежката и решаваща роля да носи обувките на великия Bruce Dickinson - и въпреки това той успя!

Двата албума на Blaze с - без преувеличение - най-великата жива метъл група на планетата - въпреки че добре известният дебат все още е силен - а именно "X-Factor" (1995) и "Virtual XI" (1998), белязани и съвпадащи с период на огромни промени, не само за Maiden и самия него, но и за цялата музикална планета. Judas Priest се разделиха с Rob Halford, извеждайки Tim "Ripper" Owens на преден план, Metallica претърпяха огромни музикални и естетически промени, hair metal западаше, гръндж рокът идваше, екстремният метъл се превръщаше в атмосферен метъл и всичко сочеше към ера, която ще остави своя специален отпечатък върху музиката, която обичаме. Точно това се случи с двата британски албума с Blaze като фронтмен-вокалист.

Не е съвпадение, че песни - важни моменти като "Man on the Edge" и "Futureal" последваха Maiden на живо дори след напускането на Blaze. А самият той, запазвайки гласа и енергията си непокътнати, продължи соловата си кариера.

Концертът ще бъде открит от Absolva, групата на братята Appleton, които са тези, които го придружават на сцената, в 2-те позиции на челото, тези на китарното дуо на групата.

Blaze Bayley celebrates 30 years since joining Iron Maiden with a major concert in Sofia, featuring songs from his two albums with the legendary band.

30 years have passed since Blaze joined the legendary British band Iron Maiden and the start of their short-lived but iconic joint career in music. It would not be an exaggeration to say that he was a highly underrated case, having of course the heavy and crucial role of wearing the shoes of the great Bruce Dickinson - and yet he more than succeeded!

Blaze s two albums with - without exaggeration - the greatest living metal band on the planet - although the well-known debate is still going strong - namely "X-Factor" (1995) and "Virtual XI" (1998) marked and coincided with a period of huge changes, not only for Maiden and himself, but also for the whole musical planet. Judas Priest were parting ways with Rob Halford, bringing Tim "Ripper" Owens to the forefront, Metallica were undergoing huge musical and aesthetic changes, hair metal was leaving, grunge rock was coming, extreme metal was transmuting into atmospheric metal and everything pointed to an era that would leave its own special mark on the music we love. That s exactly what happened with the two British albums with Blaze as the frontman-vocalist.

It is no coincidence that songs - milestones like "Man on the Edge" and "Futureal" followed Maiden live even after Blaze s departure. And he himself, keeping his voice and energy intact, continued his solo career.

The concert will be opened by Absolva, the band of the Appleton brothers, who are the ones who accompany him on stage, in the 2 spearhead positions, those of the guitar duo of the band.
