Download has been one of the most popular British festival events for years, where the strongest and most popular rock bands and metal icons will present themselves. Download Germany with Metallica premieres on June 24., 2022 at the Hockenheimring. And the message for all fans is clear: the best and most impressive Hard ‘n’ Heavy Music Experience ever!
Download Germany offers the authentic metal genre in the legendary Motodrome at Hockenheimring a new home. Up to 10 top acts will operate on a huge double stage at the end of June.
At the start, the organizer Live Nation managed to engage the most ultimate rock band as headliners: METALLICA – who will play their only Germany concert next year at Download Germany as part of the release of their newly remastered Black Album.
Together with other absolute rock heavyweights like Five Finger Death Punch and Sabaton (both 2022 festival exclusively in Germany! ) and over 70.000 expected visitors, Download Germany wants to ensure a massive and sustainable echo.
In addition to festival tickets for the interior, download Germany offers access permits for the Southstand. In the first price stage, the interior tickets cost 139 EUR incl. Parking and presale fee. Festival tickets starting at 159 EUR are available for the South stands incl. Parking and presale fee available.

Hollywood Undead and Behemoth re-confirmed!
More than 70,000 viewers are expected to be the only Metallica performance in 2022 in Germany at Download Germany. With Hollywood Undead and Behemoth, two more bands have now been confirmed to be part of a strong metal and rock program. This includes high-character genres like Five Finger Death Punch and Sabaton.
Tickets are still available for download Germany as mobile tickets or to print as TicketFast. Festival tickets will be offered for the interior and the southern stand.
