Your favorite music festival returns in the summer of 2025, welcoming Kings of Leon to Greece for the first time, at the Athens Olympic Complex, on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
The Grammy and BRIT Award-winning Alternative-Rock band Kings of Leon will play their first-ever concert in Greece on Saturday, July 5th - a long-awaited dream come true for thousands of fans in our country.
Recognized as one of the greatest alternative rock bands of the past 20 years, Kings of Leon’s rich touring history includes headlining the world’s most prestigious festivals, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading & Leeds, and multiple editions of Lollapalooza in Berlin, São Paulo, Chicago, and Santiago, to name but a few. Just last summer, the band reclaimed their all-time attendance record (from Bruce Springsteen, no less) at London’s massive Hyde Park venue.
Since their debut in 2003, Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass), and Matthew Followill (guitar) have released nine albums:
Youth & Young Manhood (2003), Aha Shake Heartbreak (2004), Because of the Times (2007), Only by the Night (2008), Come Around Sundown (2010), Mechanical Bull (2013), WALLS (2016), When You See Yourself (2021), and Can We Please Have Fun (2024). They have sold over 20 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide and earned eight Grammy nominations, winning three, along with three NME Awards, two BRIT Awards, and one Juno Award.
Their epic live performances, including the hits, fan favourites and deep cuts from all 9 albums, are an experience not to be missed. A recent 5 star review in The Guardian states ‘The newly invigorated band have a rare gift for stadium-sized rock that is refreshingly understated, delivering a 28-song set of triumphs’ and, from the same tour, the L.A Forum added “reminded everyone why they remain one of the most electrifying live bands of the last two decades.”
