Metallica returns to Bucharest, on the National Arena stage, on May 13, 2026. Special guests: Gojira and Knocked Loose. Access will NOT be allowed with tickets purchased from other sources.

Metallica confirmed today that their record-breaking M72 world tour will continue for a fourth consecutive year, with 16 dates across continental Europe and the UK in May, June and July 2026.

Metallica will arrive in Bucharest on May 13, 2026, bringing a spectacular production, with a circular stage located in the center of the field at the National Arena. The bands that will open the concert in the capital are Gojira and Knocked Loose.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 30, at 10:00 AM, and the pre-sale for Metallica fan club members begins on May 27, at 11:00 AM. BCR Mastercard cardholders will have access to a pre-sale with exclusive access from the George app, starting May 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Emagic customers can access tickets in the pre-sale on May 29, at 10:00 AM, based on the unique code they will receive by email.

Since the M72 World Tour kicked off in Amsterdam in April 2023, Metallica has performed in front of an estimated four million fans and has been hailed by international press as “a life-changing experience” (Billboard), “unquestionably epic” (Metal Hammer), “a show that leaves you speechless” (Detroit News), “triumphant” (Kerrang!) and “the most powerful and intense Metallica tour in years” (Los Angeles Times). As is customary, Metallica will donate a portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold to local charities through the band’s foundation, All Within My Hands. Founded in 2017 to support communities that have supported Metallica throughout the years, the foundation has raised over $20 million to date. Of that, $11.4 million has gone toward career and technical education programs, including the groundbreaking Metallica Scholars initiative , now in its seventh year, over $7.4 million has been allocated to combat food insecurity, and over $4.7 million has supported disaster response efforts.

Terms and conditions of ENHANCED EXPERIENCES packages

Packages are available for all ages. Persons under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All package purchasers will be contacted 3-5 days prior to the event date to receive the schedule, check-in location and time, as well as instructions on how to pick up the items included in the package. This information will be sent by the organizer or the official ticketing platform to the email address or phone number provided at the time of package purchase. The promotional products included in the package will be available for pick-up at the event location on the day of the concert, at the designated VIP check-in point (or other designated location). All products must be picked up on-site on the day of the show – they will not be mailed if you do not show up for check-in or do not meet the communicated schedule.

You must have a valid photo ID that matches the name of the buyer on the order. Those who cannot present such a document will be refused entry. You may be asked to sign a liability waiver.

By purchasing a package, you agree to have your photos taken at the event. These may appear in a collective album visible to other participants. Some images may be shared by SUPER , the photographer or artist for promotional purposes.

Events, dates, locations, promotional items, programs and amenities may vary by location and are subject to change or cancellation at any time. LIMITATIONS ON TICKET PURCHASE

For certain events, restrictions may apply regarding the maximum number of tickets that can be purchased in a single order, as well as the total number of orders allowed per user (per buyer/per email address). Exceeding these limits may result in the cancellation of orders that violate them and the refund of the value of tickets purchased above the established limit. In certain situations, such as suspicions of fraud, unauthorized resale (”scalping”) or other non-compliant activities, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel tickets without refunding their value, if the buyer does not provide the information requested during the verification process.

CHILDREN/MINOR ACCESS

Access for children of any age requires the purchase of a full-price ticket for them.

Access for minors under the age of 16 is only possible if accompanied by an adult with their own ticket. An adult can accompany a maximum of 4 minors.

Access to the concert for children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to the very loud sound and is done solely at the responsibility of the parents. The use of hearing protection headphones is recommended.

ACCESS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Emagic supports the access of people with disabilities (handicapped) to culture, thus, it will facilitate the participation of people with disabilities and their companions at the Metallica event, which it is organizing on May 13, 2026, at the National Arena in Bucharest, by offering free tickets within the limit of available seats.

The organizer will offer a limited number of free tickets to people with disabilities and their companions in the specially designed area for people with special needs in the National Arena.

Persons with disabilities who wish to benefit from free access to the Metallica event at the National Arena, from May 13, 2026, are asked to send an email to office@emagic.ro within the first 3 months from the announcement of the event, respectively, between May 22 and August 22, 2025, with their request, accompanied by a copy of the disability certificate, a copy of the identity card of the person holding the disability certificate, as well as a copy of the identity card of the companion. The documents must be valid at least for the period in which the event takes place.

Applications submitted within the three-month period mentioned above will be centralized and checked for eligibility. Applicants will be considered eligible if they have submitted their application and the above-mentioned valid documents close to the event. All applications will be responded to at the email address from which they submitted the application.

The order of acceptance of the free access application will be determined by the order in which the application is received, based on the first-come, first-served principle and also respecting the eligibility principles (applicants will be considered eligible if they have submitted their application and valid documents – disability certificate, identity card, companion identity card – between May 22 and August 22, 2025).

For accreditations, approximately 1-2 months before the event, an accreditation application form will be opened on www.emagic.ro , which journalists will be able to fill out. Please follow www.emagic.ro for updates. Attention: only requests submitted via the form will be taken into account.

ACCESS TO THE EVENT

Access to the event is only allowed with tickets purchased from: Metallica.Emagic.ro , Tickets.Emagic.ro and iaBilet.ro . Access will NOT be allowed with tickets purchased from other sources.

Please refer to the access map on your ticket to identify the area through which you will access the stadium area, as well as the positioning of the sector in which you have your seats.

The purchased ticket allows access to the stadium only once, until the end of the program, strictly in the area indicated on the ticket (lawn or stands). Those who leave the concert area and wish to re-enter will have to buy a new ticket. The same applies to wristband holders.

Access to Standing tickets on the lawn will be via 4 distinct access routes (Yellow, Pink, Green, Blue), according to the map.

The division of the pitch by color (yellow, green, pink, blue) indicates  the area through which access  to the stadium is made for Standing tickets (with standing room, on the pitch). Standing ticket buyers (with standing room, on the pitch), regardless of color, will be able to circulate anywhere on the pitch, the pitch is not physically divided into four .

The ticket must be kept for the entire duration of the concert, and spectators must also have a valid ID on them.

The ticket cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed and is valid for a single entry.

The ticket cannot be transferred to another person or resold. Reselling or reproducing tickets violates the legal provisions in force.

Refunds for tickets are not accepted.

Access will be at around 4:00 PM* for all ticket holders, except Early Entry holders, who will receive more details by email closer to the event. * The program may be subject to change independent of the organizer’s will and does not constitute a reason for refunding the ticket value.

Access will be via:

• Basarabia Boulevard (Standing tickets, grandstands)
• Maior Coravu Street (Standing tickets, grandstand M)
• Boulevard Pierre de Coubertin (Standing tickets, grandstands)

The Maior Coravu Area will be opened to the public earlier and will be set up as a waiting area with all the facilities. Access to the Maior Coravu Area does not imply access to the event before the event gates open.

PROHIBITED OBJECTS

Access to the concert area WILL NOT BE ALLOWED with: drinks and food purchased from outside the venue, glass objects (including perfume bottles of any quantity, any other bottles or deodorants), aluminum cans, cans, fireworks, banners supported by sticks, sprays, lasers, chairs, weapons, blunt objects, laptops, mini-fans, chains, umbrellas, pets, backpacks, motorcycle helmets, bulky luggage larger than an A4 sheet, selfie sticks, binoculars, professional cameras, audio-video recording devices of any kind or GoPro devices, bicycles, motorcycles, scooters and skateboards.

PERMITTED OBJECTS

Access to the concert area WILL BE PERMITTED with: EMPTY reusable plastic (sports type) bottles of maximum 750 ml, compact cameras, lighters, medications (any such products are allowed only if accompanied by a prescription, medical letter or any other document replacing it, with a maximum of one daily dose), insulin, asthma inhaler spray.

OTHER GENERAL INFORMATION

• The show will take place on a round stage, in a 360° configuration, centrally located on the lawn. Due to this concept, certain moments of the show or production elements may be partially visible.
• Recording the performance is strictly prohibited . The artist’s management may confiscate any professional audio-video recording device used in this way by the event participants. Cell phones are allowed.
• During the show, strobe lights may be used , which may be harmful to people with photosensitive epilepsy.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the National Arena , except in specially designated and marked areas. Those who do not comply with this rule are liable to a fine .
• For the safety of the public and the smooth running of the event, participants are required to submit to a body search at the request of security agents. The search is carried out under the supervision of the Romanian Gendarmerie.
• The organizer reserves the right to take and use photographs and video recordings of spectators for promotional purposes. By participating in the event, spectators accept the possibility of appearing in such materials, taken by the organizer or authorized third parties.
