“Dear Clawfinger fans. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but we have no choice other than to cancel Nova Rock in Austria and Metalfezt in Skellefteå on the 11th and 17th of September. The doctors have told me that neither my three cracked ribs, my cracked collarbone or my punctured lung will heal in time for me to be able to perform without seriously jeopardizing my health and my recovery. I am sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause . Stay safe and remember to wear a helmet, I’m glad I did cos’ it probably saved my life! Thank you for your understanding /Peace Zak”

Our 1 day festival on 11.09.2021 at stadium wr. Neustadt takes place – but to protect all visitors while following the 2 G rule. The festival is therefore only possible for vaccinated people and visitors who can show a valid negative PCR test. This decision was made by our planning team, which includes public health experts Hans-Peter Hutter and simulation researcher Niki Popper, after many detailed discussions. The experts team and the city of Wiener Neustadt are 100 % behind the conduct of the festival. The new measures guarantee us that the Nova Rock Encore at the stadium Wr.
