What is the Open Air Blues Festival Brezoi?
The Open Air Blues Festival in Brezoi is an annual event that takes place in July, in the vibrant town of Brezoi in Vâlcea County. The festival takes place over 6 days and 6 nights, in the heart of the mountains, along the Lotru River Valley. It promises an immersive experience full of captivating blues music and a meeting between wonderful people in an idyllic natural setting – a harmonious community united by common values.
TICKETS
Upon entering the festival, the electronic ticket will be scanned, and in return you will receive an access bracelet. This bracelet is your entrance ticket and must be worn throughout the festival.
How much does a child ticket cost?
Children's access: Children under 14 years old can attend the festival for free. This applies to both the concert areas and the camping area, but they must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or authorized representative holding a valid ticket. It is mandatory for all participants to comply with the festival regulations. Additional details can be found in the full document and the Parental Agreement Declaration for Minors.
Do people with disabilities benefit from discounts?
Access for people with disabilities: People with certified disabilities have free access to the festival, with or without a companion. Access is based on a valid certificate and an identity card. The companion of the disabled person must present official documents certifying their status.
Is camping included in the general access ticket?
Camping access: The general admission ticket does not include the right to camp. Each person who wants to camp must purchase a separate camping ticket. There are two types of camping tickets: for caravans and for tents.
Can I buy tickets at the festival entrance?
Purchasing tickets on site: Tickets can be purchased at the festival entrance only if there is availability. To have guaranteed access, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance, by checking the ticketing websites or following the updates on the official Instagram and Facebook pages of the festival.
How much does parking cost?
Parking details: Parking facilities at the festival are free.
Are there any age restrictions?
Age inclusiveness: There are no age restrictions at #BrezoiulLumii. All participants, regardless of age, are welcome – whether they are young or "young at heart".
ACCESS
Access schedule: Access to the festival will begin on July 22, 2025, while access to the camping area will be available from July 20, 2025.
Entry points: Access to the festival area is exclusively through specially designated entrances, and ticket validity will be checked at the entrance.
Wristband collection : Those holding tickets for the entire festival must exchange their ticket for an access wristband. This wristband must be worn for the entire 6-day period and can be obtained from the exchange points at the festival entrance.
Access in and out of the festival: Participants can enter and exit the festival at any time with their access wristband. Each entry will involve a security check.

Can I bring my dog?
Pet access: You can bring your dog, based on the Pet Responsibility Declaration, ensuring that it does not disturb other participants. You are fully responsible for your dog's behavior during the festival, and your pet must be identifiable at all times.
Can I bring medication?
Medical products : Yes, it is allowed. Please carry a doctor's recommendation justifying the need for your medication, such as pills or inhalers.
What is the weather like in Brezoi? Should I bring warm clothing?
Weather warning: The festival takes place in Brezoi, on the banks of the Lotru River. The climate is generally pleasant, but there may be short summer rains. It is recommended to bring a raincoat. In the evenings, a thicker shirt or jacket may be necessary.

How do I pay?
The festival is a completely cashless event! You will use the FESTIVAL card for all purchases, including food, drinks and other products. The FESTIVAL card can be loaded at the loading points ("TOP-UP POINT") within the festival. You can load it with cash or a bank card.

It is located at the entrance to the Brezoi City Hall building, approximately 400 meters from the festival entrance.
Camping - tents and caravans:
Do I need to bring my own tent/caravan or can I find one at Brezoi?
You need to bring your own tent or caravan. Camping is not included in the ticket price, but it can be purchased separately on the festival website in the camping tickets section.
Can I choose my campsite?
Unfortunately, campsites are allocated by the organizers to optimize space and ensure fair treatment for all participants. You will not be able to choose your exact spot.
Can I drive to the camping area?
No, direct car access to the camping area is not allowed. There are parking spaces nearby, and camping equipment can be transported to the camping area after parking.

The camping areas for tents and caravans are secured with 24/7 video surveillance and are illuminated at night. Facilities include:

Where is the camping area for tents located?
The camping area for tents, with approximately 500 units (tents), is just a 2-minute walk from the festival, located in a beautiful natural park.
Where is the camping area for caravans located?
The camping area for caravans, with a capacity of approximately 100 units, is located right next to the camping area for tents. This area offers essential facilities and an organized and vibrant community space, suitable for all ages.
Bringing Food, Water and Drinks:
Can I bring food, water or drinks into the camping area?
Yes, you can bring your own food, water and drinks into the camping area. However, barbecues are not allowed and open fires are strictly prohibited.
Cooking and Open Fire Regulations:
Barbecues are not allowed in the camping area and open fires are prohibited for safety reasons.
Other Camping Rules:
Can I bring my bike?
Yes, you can bring your bike to the camping area, but bikes are not allowed in the concert area. However, there is a 15 km scenic bike path right next to the festival area.
Can I bring musical instruments?
Yes, you can bring musical instruments such as guitars, harmonicas, drums, etc. Please be mindful of the quietness of those around you and their fun. You can also show off your musical talent at the after-festival parties!
