30 NEW BANDS CONFIRMED FOR RESURRECTION FEST ESTRELLA GALICIA 2019, TICKET OFFER UNTIL THIS SUNDAY AND NEW HEADLINER NEXT TUESDAY
We’re glad to keep announcing new things for our lineup in 2019, which looks more promising than ever. Today we have new 30 bands that are joining our current billing, with Parkway Drive, Trivium, Testament, Kvelertak or While She Sleeps already on it. The ticket price will be increased this Sunday, but before the news.
Let’s welcome Within Temptation, one of the most important symphonic metal bands in Europe, after years without being to Spain. With them, we’ll have one of the most famous extreme metal bands, the mighty Cradle of Filth, leaded by popular Dani Filth. In addition to that, first visit to Spain of one of the main metalcore bands in the world: As I Lay Dying, with an exclusive show in Spain.
Another band that will give us an incredible show will be Cult of Luna, with one of their few appearances worldwide in 2019 and with their full production. One of our favourite cult bands will also be here, Converge, premiering their new album in Viveiro, and our Swedish friends from Avatar will perform by the first time here.
If you talk about stoner, you talk about Brant Bjork, who will be here with his solo band. We’ll also have Ignite back, to enjoy all their hits and sing along. If you want something brutal, Misery Index will destroy our ears, and we won’t stop the circle pits thanks to one of the most active bands nowdays in the thrash scene, Power Trip. Colour Haze will also make us headbang in our Desert Stage, whereas Nasty are coming back to drop a brutal show.
Radio Moscow are one of the other interesting names with their psychedelic rock, and from New Zeland we’ll have a very young band called Alien Weaponry, singing in maori language. This year we had such a blast with Crystal Lake, that we have invited them to have one of their last shows of next summer, this time at the Main Stage! It will be killer. In the international section, we finish the confirmations with Cane Hill for nu-metal lovers, Venom Prison and Higher Power for our hardcore fans, and from Portugal, we’ll have Miss Lava.
In the Spanish scene, we’ll have very good bands like the extreme guys from Altarage, one of the best voices in our country with his solo band, Leo Jiménez, the folk metal of Celtibeerian, the thrashers Trallery and Strikeback, the experimental Atavismo, Santo Rostro with their raw doom, Main Line 10 and Morgen with their punk rock songs, Meltdown with their brutal songs and Megara with the self-called “fucksia rock”.
Important: the current ticket price of 115 € + fees will increase this Sunday 21st October at 23:59, so hurry up to grab your ticket before the increase. Next Tuesday we’ll finally announce a new headliner, so… are you ready?
