:: KISS’S FAREWELL WITH A SINGLE DATE IN SPAIN CLOSES THE LINE-UP FOR ROCK IMPERIUM FESTIVAL 2023 WITH 37 NEW BANDS ::

The iconic and influential American band KISS, one of the greatest rock bands of all time, will bid farewell to the stage with a single date in Spain at Rock Imperium Festival 2023 in the city of Cartagena.

Full of gratitude for the incredible reception that the festival had in its first edition last 2022, this 2023 Rock Imperium Festival grows with all of you and will be extended over three days, on 23, 24 and 25 June, incorporating 37 new bands to a line-up that already includes first class headliners such as Deep Purple and Helloween.

Owners of some of the greatest songs in the history of music, Europe were undoubtedly one of the bands that conquered our hearts in the last edition, and they will do it again in 2023 with inexhaustible anthems that already belong to the collective imagination such as “Carrie”, “Rock The Night” or “The Final Countdown”.

Joining the Swedish band Europe are power metal giants Blind Guardian and Finland’s Stratovarius, the American hard rockers Skid Row and the supergroup (Portnoy/Sheehan/Kotzen) The Winery Dogs.

Rock Imperium is also pleased to announce the participation of Lordi, the heirs to the most authentic glam rock, taking it to the stratosphere with their historic victory at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. The exquisite proposal of the Swedes The Night Flight Orchestra or the undeniable progressive metal of Evergrey also joins our line-up, as well as the explosive Metalite or the charming Chez Kane.

But Rock Imperium Festival 2023 will not only expand in time and line-up. It will also expand in space, with a venue, the Cuesta de El Batel, which will be substantially enlarged for this new edition. Rock Imperium Festival 2023 will offer Cartagena the last chance to see KISS on stage in our country, and with it the opportunity to make history. Long live Rock Imperium Festival!

:: ROCK IMPERIUM FESTIVAL INCREASES ITS DURATION AND ADDS NEW BANDS TO ITS LINE-UP ::

Still thankful for the amazing reception that Rock Imperium Festival 2022 had, bringing more than 40000 people to the city of Cartagena during the past June, we have the huge pleasure of announcing that the festival grows, and it grows with all of you. The audience is the one who makes adventures like this possible, even more so as it emerged during extremely uncertain times and, because of that, we have decided to increase the festival’s duration to three full days, which will be included in the tickets already purchased and will happen during the days 23rd, 24th and 25th June 2023.

In addition to this great announcement, we are revealing a total of 13 new bands, all of them great names of both international and national prestige. We can’t help but highlight the inclusion of Helloween, one of the most important names in the history of heavy metal and forefathers of the power metal genre. Hundreds of bands have been inspired by the more than 40 years of deeds of the German act, and being able to confirm them as one of the headliners of the next edition of Rock Imperium Festival 2023 is nothing but a true honour for us.

The Germans will be joined by another two classic bands, pioneers of the NWOBHM, like Angel Witch and Tygers of Pan Tang, both of them big influences on future styles like Thrash and Speed Metal. Fans of progressive metal will be delighted by the inclusion of Soen, and for those of you addicted to hard rock, H.E.A.T. will be crushing the festival! Leo Jiménez leads the amazing national bands of this new line-up revamp, which includes Ciclón, Jolly Joker, Rise To Fall, Elure, The Black Tree and Skull Mania.

We at Rock Imperium Festival are working hard in order to reach the ecstasy and unique experience that only live music can create, and to share it with all of you is what we aim to achieve the most! Long live to Rock Imperium Festival!
