Giants of the alternative rock scene – The Cure will hold their first solo concert in Croatia on October 27th, 2022, Arena Zagreb!
These indie rock pioneers have released 13 studio albums, more than 40 singles, have sold over 30 million albums worldwide, live albums, soundtracks, books… The Cure marked the lives of a generations of fans with their music. Although they are difficult to classify into a single musical genre, they influenced the formation of several of them such as goth rock, new wave and post-rock. In 2019, five members of The Cure were officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The Cure was formed in 1978 in Crawley, England, and since its first concert that same year, The Cure has played over 1,500 concerts, and live music and direct contact with the audience is what The Cure does best. Two years ago, they were named the Best Festival Headliners by NME, which only proves their love for the stage. The Cure Euro 22 tour will be the first since their concert appearances in 2019, the year in which they celebrated 40 years of existence, and 30 years since the release of the cult album “Disintegration” in 1989, which secured the title of one of the best British bands in the last 50 year. That same year, after a three-month festival tour, they held an epic three-hour concert in Mexico City. In Arena Zagreb, a full 135 minutes of pure The Cure concert energy and enthusiasm await us, which will be preceded by the performance of the band The Twilight Sad.

Giganti alternativne rock scene – The Cure 27. listopada 2022. u Areni Zagreb održat će prvi samostalni koncert u Hrvatskoj! Ogromna baza obožavatelja ovog kultnog benda koji ne posustaje ni u nastupima, ni u izdavaštvu ni nakon 42 godine od osnutka, napokon će doći na svoje i vidjeti dugo očekivani samostalni nastup The Curea. Zagrebački koncert dio je upravo najavljene europske turneje The Cure Tour 22 na kojoj će The Cure održati 44 koncerta u 22 zemlje, a sve kao najava novog albuma koji će donijeti novih 67 minuta The Cure zvuka.
Ovi indie rock pioniri do sada su objavili 13 studijskih albuma, više od 40 singlova, njihovi album su prodani u 30 milijuna kopija, a tu je i niz live albuma, soundtrackova, posebnih izdanja… The Cure je svojom glazbom obilježio živote generacije obožavatelja, a iako ih je teško svrstati u pojedinačan glazbeni žanr, utjecali na formiranje nekolicine njih kao što su goth rock, new wave i post-rock. U 2019. pet članova The Curea svečano su primljeni u Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The Cure je oformljen 1978. godine u gradu Crawley u Engleskoj, a od prvog koncerta te iste godine The Cure je do sada odsvirao preko 1,500 koncerata, a upravo su živa svirka i direktan kontakt s publikom ono što The Cure radi najbolje. Tako su i prije dvije godine od NME-a proglašeni najboljim festivalskim headlinerima, što samo dokazuje njihovu ljubav prema pozornici. The Cure Euro 2022 turneja bit će prva nakon koncerata održanih 2019., godini u kojoj su slavili 40 godina postojanja, te 30 godina od izlaska kultnog albuma “Disintegration” iz 1989. s kojim su osigurali su titulu jednog od najboljih britanskih bendova u posljednjih 50 godina. Iste godine, nakon festivalske turneje od tri mjeseca održali su epski trosatni koncert u Mexico Cityju. U Areni Zagreb nas tako očekuje punih 135 minuta čiste The Cure koncertne energije i zanosa, kojoj će prethoditi nastup predgrupe The Twilight Sad.
