Festival guide 2023: Nova Rock (Austria)

Nova Rock was held for the first time in 2005 and since then the festival has welcomed titans such as Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Rammstein, Muse, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chili Pepers, Linkin Park, The Prodigy, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Kings Of Leon, Kiss, The Killers, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Nine Inch Nails, System Of A Down and much, much more incredible music names.

The bands that rock the main two stages are mainly rock, metal, alternative and punk, but sometimes there are also some modern dance-acts. During the last few years, the special performance on the last day of the festival is the brass-band/orchestra from Nickelsdorf – Wendi's Böhmische Blasmusik.

Every year in June the majority of Central Europe gathers in Nickelsdorf to dive in the atmosphere of the great rock event called Nova Rock.
