Всички компоненти на “Anthology“, мултимедийният ретроспективен проект на The Beatles от края на 90-те, ще бъде преиздаден с допълнителен материал, добавен както към музикалния бокс сет, така и към телевизионния сериал. Документалният филм вече ще се гледа като стрийминг сериал в Disney+.
Въпреки че ново поколение може да открива целия този аудио и визуален материал за първи път, дългогодишните фенове на The Beatles ще бъдат най-заинтересовани от добавения материал. За документалната поредица това включва новосглобен девети епизод, който да се присъединява към оригиналните осем, излъчени за първи път през 1995 г.
Книгата на Бийтълс “Антология“ също се преиздава в издание с меки корици по случай 25-годишнината, макар и без допълнителни материали освен снимките и текста, които бяха част от оригиналното издание от 2000 г.
Преиздаването на книгата ще бъде първото, което ще излезе в тази кампания, с дата на издаване 14 октомври. Музикалните колекции ще последват на 21 ноември (седмица преди Черния петък) във формати винил, CD, за дигитално сваляне и стрийминг. Пет дни след това, на 26 ноември (денят преди Деня на благодарността), първите три епизода от ремастерираната и разширена документална поредица ще започнат да се стриймват в Disney+.
Новият девети епизод от документалната поредица е обявен като “включващ невиждани кадри зад кулисите на Paul, George и Ringo, които се събират между 1994 и 1995 г., за да работят по “Anthology“ и размишляват върху споделения си живот като The Beatles“. В допълнение към завладяващите ауттейкове, датиращи от 1963 до 1969 г., албумът включва нови миксове от 2025 г. от Jeff Lynne на “Free As A Bird“ и “Real Love“. Освен това, “Anthology 4” представя 17 парчета, които преди това не са били достъпни на CD.
Всеки албум от комплекта с 2 CD-та е в разгъваема обложка, с книжка от над 40 страници, съдържаща оригиналната обложка, бележки върху нея от Марк Луисън и реставрирани снимки за Антология 1-3; Антология 4 има чисто нови бележки, написани от Кевин Хаулет, наред със снимки.
