As the final riffs thunder across the fields and the first wave of bands for W:O:A 2027 has been announced from the mighty Bullhead, we’d like to share the initial details regarding the ticket presale.
In addition to Faster, Harder, and Louder, three further ticket categories or vouchers are available for purchase this time around:
Faster Ticket
Live fast, be Faster. With the Faster Ticket, you can secure your festival pass at a low price while supplies last—up to 10,000 tickets. Two decades, ten albums, and still going strong: Five Finger Death Punch are returning to Holy Ground in 2027 with their latest album, “Legacy.”
Children Of Bodom, together with Samy Elbanna (Lost Society), will bring Alexi Laiho’s legacy back to the stage; Primordial will celebrate the 20th anniversary of “To The Nameless Dead” with an exclusive full-album set; and Towards The Sinister will revive the roots of Death-Doom with members from the early My Dying Bride era.
Also on the lineup: Gothenburg Metal from Dark Tranquillity, Extreme Metal power from Cavalera Conspiracy, John Bush – Celebrating The Songs Of Anthrax, and Hardcore intensity from Knocked Loose, Avatar, Creeper, and Seven Blood. The first bands for Wacken Open Air 2027 have been revealed.
Joining the line-up are Belphegor with their Sanctus Bestiam Procession, Brazilian death metal force Crypta and cult band Dethklok from Metalocalypse. Abbath, Ice Dale and Armagedda will perform the I album Between Two Worlds in full in an exclusive show. Kanonenfieber bring their Kanonenfest to Wacken. Gaerea and Napalm Death return. Witch Club Satan will bring their intense live show to the Holy Ground.
