Pink Floyd отбелязват 50 години от издаването на великия “Wish You Were Here“ с ново делукс издание.
Петдесет години след издаването на оригиналния албум и 14 години след като предишен бокс сет накара някои фенове да мислят, че в трезора има още много за разкопаване, класическият албум на Pink Floyd “Wish You Were Here“ ще получи юбилейни издания за 50-годишнината, които включват по-голямо количество неиздавани материали, общо наречени “Wish You Were Here 50“. Една от неиздаваните досега песни от колекцията, “The Machine Song (Demo #2, Revisited)“, ранна версия на “Welcome to the Machine“, беше пусната в стрийминг услугите в петък като тийзър за предстоящото богатство от издания.

Форматите за изданията “50“ са винилов комплект с 3 LP, издание с 2 CD, Blu-ray, дигитална версия за сваляне и – разбира се, най-важното – луксозен бокс сет.
Въпреки че някои ветерани като The Beatles са се отказали от Blu-Ray изданията, някои закоравели фенове на Floyd, които коментираха изтекли новини, бяха особено доволни, че Blu-Ray съществува, и че е включен както в луксозния бокс сет, така и като самостоятелно издание.
