Rock the City: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – 19 юни 2018 – Romexpo, Bucharest (RO)
Rock The City presents, for the first time, on June 19 and 20, 2018, the concerts of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Arcade Fire. The concerts will take place in Bucharest, at Romexpo (parking lot A).
Nick Cave, whose real name is Nicholas Edward Cave, is an Australian rock artist, who began his career in the 70s with the group Boy Next Door (later changed to The Birthday Party).
In 1983, after the breakup of The Birthday Party, Nick Cave formed his own group, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, which aimed to explore various musical genres and break away from classic patterns.
Together with The Bad Seeds, Nick Cave has released 16 studio albums and 4 live albums. During this entire period, he has released an impressive number of hits, all of which have entered the international charts, the most famous being Where The Wild Roses Grow (sung in a duet with Kylie Minogue).
His latest album, Skeleton Tree, released in the fall of 2016, gave Nick Cave the opportunity to return to the stage and, during the European tour that will take place in 2018, to arrive in Romania for the first time.
On this occasion, the Romanian audience will be able to be with an important artist of the world rock scene, who offers the audience more than music: an intense emotional state.
Tickets will go on sale on February 20, 2018 starting at 2 p.m. through the Eventim network and online at http://www.eventim.ro and will be available both as a subscription and as one-day tickets.

Nick Cave, pe numele adevărat Nicholas Edward Cave, este un artist rock australian, care și-a început cariera în anii 70 alături de grupul Boy Next Door (nume schimbat ulterior în The Birthday Party).
În 1983, după destrămarea trupei The Birthday Party, Nick Cave își formează propriul grup, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, care și-a propus să exploreze diverse genuri muzicale și să iasă din tiparele clasice.
Împreună cu The Bad Seeds, Nick Cave a realizat 16 albume de studio și 4 albume live. În toată această perioadă a lansat un număr impresionant de hituri, toate intrate în topurile internaționale, cea mai cunoscută fiind Where The Wild Roses Grow (cântată în duet cu Kylie Minogue).
Ultimul său disc, Skeleton Tree, apărut în toamna lui 2016, i-a dat posibilitatea lui Nick Cave să revină pe scenă și, în timpul turneului european ce se va desfășura în 2018, să ajungă în premieră și în România.
Cu această ocazie, publicul român va putea fi alături de un artist important al scenei rock mondială, care oferă publicului mai mult decât muzică: o stare emoțională intensă.
