Eric Prydz headlines a mighty EXIT Dance Arena line-up!

For more than 20 years, EXIT’s mts Dance Arena has grown into a global phenomenon that has been called the best electronic music stage in the world by leading global media and artists.

Summer after summer, countless legendary nights and mornings added their energetic contributions to constructing a place that has become much more than a stage. Today, Dance Arena is a crossroads of the entire scene, a magnificent temple of electronic music. The famous trench at the Petrovaradin Fortress will shine with a special kind of energy from the 6th to the 9th of July in one of its strongest editions yet, led by the absolute #1 act on the electronic music scene, Eric Prydz, whose show has been eagerly anticipated by the audience at EXIT and in Serbia for a decade!

He headlines the mega-powerful line-up that will take over Dance Arena, comprising the biggest global electronic music stars Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Nina Kraviz, Keinemusik, Michael Bibi, Hot Since 82, CamelPhat, Mind Against, Agents Of Time live, Gioli & Assia live, Ben Böhmer live, Vintage Culture, Layla Benitez, and leading local performers, including Marko Nastić, who is celebrating 25 years on the scene this year, as well as Tijana T, Space Motion, Coeus, and Kristijan Molnar. A fresh batch of acts also arrives on the nearby sister stage NSNS, including artists such as Ben UFO, Avalon Emerson, Patrick Mason, Carlita, Shimza, Desiree, Partiboi 69, X-Coast, and Cici.

The unique thing about this year’s festival is not only the super-strong line-up but also EXIT’s special vision for the opening and closing of the festival. Not only will the first day of mts Dance Arena be all female, with a line-up consisting of Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Tijana T, and MIJU, but it will feature probably the strongest techno programme that can be assembled in one place today. The Arena’s closing set this summer will, with great excitement, be left to today’s most sought-after house collective – Keinemusik, who will perform at the official after-party after the closing of the official programme, all together for at least six hours! “We will stay until Tuesday“, stated one of the comments on social media within an online campaign asking for these grandmasters to close the Arena.

A fantastic wave of new artists will close this year’s electronic music programme at EXIT, joining the many acts whose arrival in Novi Sad has already been confirmed, such as The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Skrillex, Alesso, Viagra Boys, Chase & Status, Claptone, SOFI TUKKER, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, LF System, and many others. One-day ticket sales start on 15th March at noon! The offer will include a limited contingent of tickets at the price of 39 EUR + b/f for each day.

Universally regarded as the greatest rap group of all time, they will make the Petrovaradin Fortress one of the world’s central venues for celebrating half a century of incredible culture, whose sound has dominated the planet for decades. A band that has profoundly changed the hip-hop game is coming as the festival’s latest headliners. It all started with the debut release “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).” Considered one of the most influential albums ever, this record will celebrate its 30th birthday in Novi Sad.

Wu-Tang will be backed by a plethora of big regional acts spanning several generations, including Ajs Nigrutin & Smoke Mardeljano, Prti Bee Gee, Bolesna Braća, Mimi Mercedez, Tam, Macha Ravel, Fox & Surreal, Hiljson Mandela, Z++, 30zona, Crni Cerak & Lacku, Grše, Micka Lifa, Bore Balboa. 

Phat Phillie with his influential 30-year-old regional hip-hop community gathered around the Blackout organization, as well as Bassivity label which is celebrating 20 years since their first edition will also land in EXIT Universe. With this incredible support, the Petrovaradin Fortress will once again be one of the epicenters of the global festival scene. Rap and trap will mingle, from 6th to 9th July, with a powerful lineup featuring the world’s most sought-after tour headliner, The Prodigy, Grammy-winner Skrillex, Alesso, Viagra Boys, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Keinemusik, Hot Since 82, Indira Paganotto, Chase & Status, CamelPhat, Claptone, Sofi Tukker, LF System, Burak Yeter, and many more artists to be announced soon!

EXIT festival, set to take place from 6th to 9th July at the Petrovaradin Fortress, has just been sped up to 174 bpm – the multiple award-winning British electronic duo Chase & Status, the biggest drum’n’bass and jungle band of the millennium, will celebrate two decades of existence at the festival’s Main Stage!

Strong basslines will also come from the experienced drum’n’bass selector and DJ Charlie Tee, while new names are to join EXIT Universe as early as tomorrow! They continue the stellar line-up of artists announced so far, including the most influential electro-punk band of all time, The Prodigy, multiple Grammy Award winner Skrillex, rock sensation Viagra Boys and the most sought-after acts on the electronic music scene, the Keinemusik collective, the duo CamelPhat, Indira Paganotto, Hot Since 82, LF System, Vintage Culture and many others.

Емблематичната британска група и най-влиятелната електро-пънк банда на всички времена, The Prodigy, се завръща след многогодишна пауза, за да оглави водещи европейски фестивали, включително EXIT!

Като се има предвид дълбоката връзка на групата и богатата й история с местната и регионална публика, се очаква EXIT, който по-рано наричаха любимия си фестивал, да бъде връхната точка на турнето им за завръщане!

Програмата EXIT 2023 ще бъде оглавена и от революционера в електронната музика, осемкратен носител на награди Грами Skrillex, рок сензацията Viagra Boys, колектива Keinemusik, един от най-търсените електронни изпълнители днес, както и дуото CamelPhat, Hot От 82, LF System, Vintage Culture и Indira Paganotto. The Prodigy са водещата причина за глобалната лудост по електронна музика от десетилетия! Песни като „Firestarter“, „Breathe“ (която имаше премиера в Белград) „Smack My Bitch Up“, „Voodoo People“, „No Good (Start The Dance),“ „Out Of Space“ и „Everybody In The Place“ “ са не само огромната част от музикалната история, но са неразделна част от възпитанието на поколения по света през последните 30 години. Огромната им популярност в нашия регион се доказва от рекордите по посещаемост на Основната сцена на всяко тяхно представление, което очакваме да видим и през следващата година! Концертът им от 1995 г. в зала „Пионир“ в Белград остави незаличима следа в сръбското общество след войните и санкциите, свързвайки младите хора със света и им предоставяйки чувство за свобода, бунт и революция чрез музиката. Тази връзка беше задълбочена на фестивала EXIT, от първото им представяне през 2007 г., през изданието от 2009 г. до 2013 и 2016 г.

След обявяването на една от най-големите нови рок банди Viagra Boys, други носители на жесток, мощен звук ще направят EXIT отново фестивал на метъла, пънка и рокендрола от 6-ти до 9-ти юли тази година!

Epica, една от водещите световни симфонични метъл банди от Нидерландия, ще пристигне на главната сцена заедно с белградската метъл група Jenner. Към емблематичната сцена Explosive се присъединяват и 23 нови имена, водени от канадците Exciter и американците Massacre, които ще свирят за първи път в Сърбия, бразилските метъли NervoChaos, мексиканците Armada, датчаните Night Fever, италианците Violentor и много други! Те се присъединяват към предварително обявените хардкор пънкари Wolfbrigade, пънк-рок дивата Suzi Moon, британските легенди Cockney Rejects, както и The Toasters и Mortal Kombat, които ще излязат на известната сцена на Visa Fusion.

Симфоник-метъл бандата Epica, секстет, воден от уникалните вокали на Simone Simons, са новото попълнение към EXIT Universe. Те имат осем студийни албума в музикалното си портфолио, половината от които попадат в топ 10 на най-продаваните класации в Нидерландия, докато изданията “Requiem for the Indifferent” (2012) и “The Quantum Enigma” (2014) постигат международно признание.. и се озоваха в класацията Топ 200 на Billboard в САЩ. Те също така получиха Music Export Award през 2015 г. като най-успешната международно призната нидерландска група, докато албумът от 2016 г. „The Holographic Principle“ беше класиран на десето място в топ списъка на Loudersound за най-добрите симфонични метъл издания. Към тях на главната сцена се присъединява белградската траш метъл банда Jenner, чийто албум “To Live is to Suffer”, издаден от френския Infernö Records, получи положителни отзиви по целия свят.

Китарният храм на фестивала EXIT, емблематичната сцена Explosive, ще бъде разтърсена от 23 от най-горещите хардкор, метъл и пънк групи от различни части на света. Легендарната канадска група Exciter, пионери на спийд метъла с музикална кариера, обхващаща почти половин век, и Massacre, чийто дебютен албум „From Beyond“ дефинира дет метъла като жанр, ще свирят за първи път в Сърбия. Към тях се присъединяват бразилците NervoChaos, които обявиха предстоящия си единадесети студиен албум “Chthonic Wrath” със синглите “Son of Sin,” “Torn Apart” и “Taphephobia”, както и мексиканската метъл банда Armada, италианската Violentor и датската хардкор пънк банда Night Fever, докато Sacred Reich за съжаление все пак няма да участват.

Силен регионален състав се ръководи от международно признатата белградска спийд/траш метъл банда Bombarder, култовата българска банда Hyperborea, словенските пънкари Hak Attak и металите Sarcasm, хърватите Flesh и Dead Dog Summer, хардкор квартета Urban Instinkt от Босна и Херцеговина, и пънк рок квинтета Punkreas от Черна гора. В същото време местната сцена ще бъде представена от Larska, Polywhy, Svlak, 3 A. M., Affliction, Fiskalni rčakun, Vršnjačko najlije, Dead Joker и Claymorean.
