It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the last three shows on our European run this summer in Romania, Sweden and Switzerland.

Ivan was recently seen by his medical team and they have now advised him to rest and refrain from travel until the beginning of July. This is to ensure he makes a full recovery and can be ready to start the North American leg of this tour on July 21st in York, PA without further interruption.

We would like to thank Metallica for their unwavering support of the band and of Ivan during this tough time. We would also like to thank Floor Jansen and Epica for stepping in at such short notice to fill our spot.

Most importantly, though, we thank the fans for your understanding and patience. It is heartbreaking we were not able to play these shows, but we will most certainly return next year and we have a few other things planned too.

Five Finger Death Punch performs for the first time in Romania on June 14 at Romexpo in the open air where we will celebrate 19 years of METALHEAD in Romania. The first 500 tickets in each category go on sale on Friday, March 3 at 11:00 a.m. and have earlybird prices, but METALHEAD fans will receive a code on March 1 at 1:00 p.m. on the METALHEAD Instagram page with which they have access to the first 200 tickets, before everyone else.

For 19 years in Romania, METALHEAD has organized thousands of concerts with hundreds of thousands of spectators with artists such as Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Slayer, Gojira, Sabaton, Deftones, Whitesnake, Garbage, Nightwish, alt-J, Disturbed, Godsmack, Powerwolf, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, Apocalyptica, Billy Corgan, Skillet, Judas Priest, Sepultura, Stone Sour, Hollywood Undead, Accept, Nazareth and many others. In 2023 METALHEAD awaits you with a new series of rock and metal events with Pantera, Parkway Drive, Amon Amarth, Steve Vai, Deep Purple, Powerwolf, Hollywood Vampires, THE 1975 and many other names that will be announced soon. The story of METALHEAD began in 2004 in the Underworld Club in Bucharest with a rock library and a website (still active, metalhead.ro) then with concerts with local and international bands and went through venues such as Viking, Utopia, Live Metal Club, Silver Church, Old School, /FORM Space, Quantic Club, Arenele Romane, Sala Palatului or Romexpo, a long and beautiful road dotted with thousands of successful concerts. Without a doubt, the history of rock and metal, both mainstream and underground in Romania for the last almost 20 years, is intertwined with that of METALHEAD.Five Finger Death Punch come from Nevada, United States, formed in 2005 and released 9 studio albums, one live album, two compilations, one EP and 33 singles. The debut album from 2007 sold over 500,000 copies in the United States alone and the second and third have already exceeded 1 million and were certified Platinum by the RIAA. With its charismatic but also mysterious soloist, Ivan Moody, Five Finger Death Punch headlines most festivals around the world and the latest album, “Afterlife”, released on August 19, 2022, was promoted worldwide through tours with Megadeth and The Hu.The band’s name is inspired by a classic martial arts movie. The band combines several styles from heavy metal to groove metal, alternative metal, hard rock or thrash metal and songs like “Wrong Side of Heaven”, “Blue on Black”, “Bad Company”, “Gone Away” or “A Little Bit Off”, tracks with tens and hundreds of millions of views on Youtube, will remain in the musical history of the metal genre for years to come.
