Dear MetalDays Community,

It is with a mix of emotions that we share this news: MetalDays will not be held in 2024. Unfortunately, due to the challenges we’ve encountered, we’ve had to make the tough decision not to proceed with the festival this year.

After extensive discussions, we have made the difficult decission to postpone MetalDays 2024 and instead shift our focus to MetalDays 2025, scheduled to take place from July 27th to August 2nd, 2025. While this decision was not made lightly, we believe it is the most reasonable and in the best interest of everyone involved.

As you know, we have openly shared the challenges faced by MetalDays, along with many other festivals, over the past year. MetalDays 2023 encountered unprecedented difficulties due to severe flooding, leading to the cancellation of the last two festival days. The aftermath, coupled with the financial setbacks, has made it challenging for us to deliver the experience you all deserve.

At MetalDays, our mission from the very beginning has been to organize the best possible event. We set the bar very high, and you, our dear visitors, as well as the bands, agents, crew, and partners, do not deserve anything less. Given the circumstances, taking a break and redirecting our efforts to ensure a stellar next edition feels like the right step forward.

Rather than rushing into another planning cycle with financial challenges, we see this as an opportunity to take a hiatus, regroup, and dedicate ourselves to ensuring the success of the next edition.

We wish you all nothing but the best and express our gratitude once again for all your support at every MetalDays edition. Keep your eyes on our socials and website for updates. Our paths will cross again soon.

Dragi prijatelji in obiskovalci festivala MetalDays,

z mešanimi občutki vam sporočamo novico, da smo zaradi vseh izzivov s katerimi smo se morali soočiti sprejeli težko odločitev, da festivala MetalDays v letu 2024 ne bomo organizirali.

Po dolgotrajnih pogovorih vseh vpletenih v organizacijo festivala smo se soglasno odločili, da festival MetalDays 2024 prestavimo in se osredotočimo na organizacijo festivala MetalDays 2025, ki bo potekal od 27. julija do 2. avgusta 2025. Čeprav ta odločitev ni bila sprejeta enostavno, verjamemo, da je razumna in v predvsem v interesu vseh vključenih v organizacijo tako obsežnega dogodka.

Do sedaj že veste, da smo z vami delili vse izzive in prepreke s katerimi se je festival srečeval in zavedamo se, da na žalost še zdaleč nismo edini festival, ki se je v letu 2023 soočil z nepredvidenimi dogodki. MetalDays 2023 se je soočil z nepredvidenimi težavami zaradi hudih poplav, kar je privedlo do odpovedi zadnjih dveh festivalskih dni. Posledice, skupaj z izpadom dohodka, so nam otežile organizacijo festivala in zagotovitev festivalske izkušnje, ki si jo obiskovalci zagotovo zaslužite.

Organizatorji festivala MetalDays smo od samega začetka zavezani k obljubi, da je festival nepozabna in edinstvena izkušnja saj verjamemo, da si vsi sodelujoči zaslužite le najboljše. Glede na vse okoliščine menimo, da je odločitev za premor in preusmeritev naših prizadevanj za zagotavljanje nove nepozabne izkušnje v letu 2025 pravilna in logičen korak naprej.

Namesto hitenja in sklepanja kompromisov vidimo to kot priložnost za premor, sveže ideje in ponovno združitev v organizaciji kar najboljše edicije festivala v letu 2025.

Še enkrat se vsem zahvaljujemo za vašo podporo, ki ste nam jo izkazovali na prav vsaki ediciji festivala MetalDays in vam želimo vse dobro.

Regrettably, the Cattle Decapitation tour has been canceled. We remain hopeful that we can include them in future editions.
