Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, a band that has gained a cult status in Serbia and whose concerts always attract great interest, is returning to Belgrade after nine years. Organizer Charm Music expects that the Lower Town of Kalemegdan will be flooded with tens of thousands of fans of Nick Cave and his band on August 7, 2026.
This concert is part of a monumental European summer tour that sees Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds return to big stages and festivals across the continent. After spectacular and sold-out performances on the Wild God tour in 2024, the band arrives in the summer of 2026 with a repertoire that includes songs from all periods of their career, including those from the last, highly acclaimed album Wild God, which topped the charts in Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland, and was among the ten best-selling albums in several European countries.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have performed in Serbia several times since 1990, and they held their last big solo concert in Belgrade in 2017 in the sold-out Belgrade Arena. 50,000 people also remember their performance at the Petrovaradin fortress, where they performed as part of the Exit festival in 2022. This concert is considered one of the most emotional and impressive performances in the festival’s history, and critics and fans have described it as a concert that will remain in the Exit anthology as one of the greatest rock concerts ever held at this festival.
The Bad Seeds are considered one of the most exciting live bands around the world, who show no signs of stagnation and fatigue even in the fifth decade of their work. They continue to push their boundaries and the boundaries of the audience, so they perform as intensely as at the beginning of their career.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will hold a series of outdoor shows across Europe in the summer of 2026, starting on June 10 at Malahide Castle in Irelandj, and the tour will include Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, France, United Kingdom, Croatia, Romania, Norway and Lithuania. The tour will end on the 28th. August at the Rock en Seine festival in France.
The epic season of performances also includes an exclusive concert on July 31 at Preston Park in Brighton, which is already sold out. This show isn’t just another tour date, it’s a homecoming. Nick Cave’s connection with the city of Brighton is long-lasting and unique, making the Preston Park concert a pivotal moment in the history of both the city and the band.
On the big stage at the foot of the Kalemegdan fortress on August 7, 2026, Nick Cave and his faithful The Bad Seeds team will climb; Warren Ellis, Colin Greenwood, Jim Sclavunos, George Witch, Larry Mullins and Carly Paradis.
