Hailsteel – Junkwolvz – Deity Live at Live&Loud

▷Hailsteel is a band from Athens, Greece that is committed to heavy metal, strongly influenced by NWOBHM bands of the 80s. They have shared the stage in Europe with names that have left their mark on the field such as Flotsam and Jetsam, Blaze Bayley (-ex Iron Maiden), Black Trip, Vultures Vengeance, Litany, Screamer, Blizzen, Spitfire, Elixir and etc. Characteristic of their sound are the fast speeds and the many leads that shape the dynamic and aggressive form of the band that ranges around Speed and Thrash Metal. They formed by Vasilis (guitar & vocals), Spyros (guitar), Stathis (bass) and Jimmy (drums) in 2015 and that line up still stays strong, releasing their debut album Raw Rapid Aggressive with the legendary Japanese label Red Rivet Records.

▷Junkwolvz is a band located in Athens, Greece. Their sound occupies the space between metal and hard rock and their purpose is to reawaken the rock’n’roll element in metal music. With main influences such as Motorhead, Megadeth and Guns’N’Roses, they have, until now, released 3 singles called “A Blackened Star”, “The Monster” , “Ride With Me” and they are on their way for their first LP so sit tight!

▷Thrash metal band Deity was formed in December 2011. While casually rehearsing songs by Chuck Schuldiner and Death, Ceco Peichev received an offer to participate in the annual tribute to the death of the legendary guitarist. The band members then were: Ceco, Niki, Mitko, and Deso. They performed four of Death’s faster pieces with enviable quality and ease. Later, Niki and Deso left the band, but Moni (drums) and Dobri (bass) joined.

On February 25, 2019, Deity’s first album “Evil Seeds of Life” was released. It contains 7 compositions in the band’s characteristic thrash style. The pieces are intense and not burdensome, even for the more pretentious listeners. The multi-instrumentalist only invited guest participants for the solos in individual pieces, which were the work of Milcho Kolev, Vili Neshev, Oleg Nikolov, and Velin Penev.
Lyricists Angela Alexandrova and Kaloyan Stefanov helped with the full realization of the songs, and Pencho Chukov, whose unique photo of the “Shipka” monument immediately fit into the concept, was responsible for the “cover” visual.

In 2023, after a brief hiatus from the stage, the band restarted its activity with four new members alongside the “core” Ceco Peichev: Deyan Videv on bass (known from bands Nightmare, Ciroza, Demenzia, Maltworm, Bestia ater), Milen Kozov (Lombardo) on drums (Mortal Remains, Fat White Chiefs, Er Goliam, In Somnus, Christian Traussnig (Chregu Thrax) on vocals (Helvetica, Sullen but Straight), and Milcho Kolev on solo guitar (Liquid Pension, Project Arcadia ).
